Steven Campanella

Percussionist Steven Campanella has been an educator for the past 24 years on Long Island, NY.  During that time he has  explored many aspects of performance in the field of music.  Always trying to expand his ability for the benefit of his students, Steven has worked with top performers in the music performance industry and within the world of music education.

Steven is a graduate of the Crane School of Music and has earned a bachelor's degree in Music Education and master's degree in Music Performance and he continually strives toward the exploration of sound, color, expression, and beauty.

From an early age Steven showed a deep interest and love of music.  Inspired by his teachers, it didn't take long for that spark to ignite.  As a child in a family of visual artists Steven has always seemed like the black sheep of the family choosing to shape his art with sound.

Steven is currently working in public education bringing art and music to high school students in the New York area.  It is his goal to not only expand his understanding of expression but to motivate young minds to do the same.
